ROADLIFESIGN
On February 6, 2025, Movsum burned the entire collection he had created from summer through December 2024. This collection marked the culmination of his deep obsession with road signs—elements that subtly organize daily life yet contain a rich visual and conceptual depth. This period was not just a creative process but a transformation, during which art became both an inspiration and an internal challenge
Riding a scooter through the city streets, Movsum began to see the world differently. Road signs, asphalt lines, shadows, and cracks in the pavement became components of a system that structures the space around us. He studied their rhythm, structure, and interaction with sunlight and urban chaos. In the studio, these observations transformed into his first works, each reflecting an inner search
However, the deeper he delved into the theme, the more he felt lost within his own concept. The summer months were spent experimenting and searching for new formats, but by August, he felt the need to pause and step away from art for a while . Photographing them, he began to realize that his fascination was not with the objects themselves but with what they symbolized—movement, transformation, and cycles
The ROADLIFESIGN project became both an ending and a new beginning. Burning the collection on the blockchain was an act of release—the only way to permanently fix this part of history, preserving it forever while freeing himself from its influence. This led to the creation of WIP (Work in Progress), a dynamic project that evolves over time, reflecting the cyclical nature of the creative process

Every season—specifically on the sixth day of the last month of each season—the metadata of this project will change, symbolizing not only the passage of time but also the evolution of an idea. This project embodies the endless process of creativity, where each new iteration is not a rejection of the past but a step toward its reinterpretation

This work will not be for sale anytime soon—perhaps never. Its value is not defined by a single moment but by the process itself. Movsum intends to continue modifying its metadata for the rest of his life, making it a living testament to the idea that art is not a static form but an ongoing movement, an internal struggle, and transformation.
ROADLIFESIGN and WIP are not just projects; they are a manifesto of the artistic journey, where each work of art lives, evolves, and ultimately liberates its creator.
